Michelle was a dream come true! She was thorough and really knows her stuff when it comes to starting a fashion line. She gets real with you on what it takes to actually venture into running a successful business, from writing a business plan to funding and other fundamentals. I'm local in NYC and she provided many resources, as well as resources specific to the brand I am looking to start. I would recommend this class to anyone who is starting to venture into starting their own line and needs some guidance.

The class provided numerous invaluable resources to assist in the manufacturing process. Additionally, Michelle was great with answering your questions no matter how big or small. She was able to make the class agenda span from basic 101 steps to an elevated tutorial of what your next steps should be.

The course was really usefull for me. Michelle answered all my questions and gave very interesting information about Fashion Styling in NY. I recommend the course.

I believe that this class is for someone who knows nothing about business 101. I do not think this should be a pre-requisite to any other classes especially if your already business savvy. I was kinda disappointed to see that it wasnt more organized and so simple. I was disappointed that it seemed like a principals was bunched together in a small amount of time for $225. Theories explained seemed more so off the top of head not concisely put. Fashion is anal. And i came expecting that. Although if you come with a ton of questions she will answer but again, its not alot of time. My suggestions for all newbies go to a free business workshop first. Learn everything you can about a business plans, financing, marketing fashion specifically. Have questions, ideas, samples and financing ready. If not your better off paying the consulting fee when you’re ready to launch and asking all questions then. The manufacturing process is also intense and i do suggest taking that class especially when you dont know anything at all. But again I give it three stars because it could have been so much more to it had the claas been more time to go over everything. I actually am taking another one. Even if we didnt have alot of time, a more written detailed reference would suffice especially for those who dont have the experience.

The amount of information I got with this class was amazing. I truly feel that I have new tools in which to start this new endeavor. The teacher truly wants her students to succeed and she gives so much of her vast knowledge freely. Ask questions, she is amazing at helping you navigate through your issues. I will be taking her other classes as soon as I can.

She gave well spelled out beginning steps and was happy to answer any extra in depth questions on the topic.
