What you'll learn in this spanish cooking class:

Learn to prepare a delicious, authentic Spanish paella and several tapas! During this in person class Chef Daniel will guide you step by step in cooking these staples of Spanish cuisine. He is passionate about teaching fundamentals – and once you learn the basics, the dishes are surprisingly easy to make. We will also create a refreshing salad, full of the flavors of the Mediterranean, that perfectly  complements the paella.

Menu:

  • Paella
    • The quintessential Spanish dish, paella is at its core all about the rice. Not difficult to master once you understand the basic ideas, during the class you will make your own paella from scratch, learn how to achieve the perfect point for the rice, and c
  • Pa Amb Tomàquet
    • This Catalan dish is simplicity itself: bread, tomatoes, garlic, olive oil and salt. When done well, it is amazingly delicious. It is a staple that you will find in any bar or restaurant in Barcelona. During this class we make it using Chef Daniel’s home
  • Setas Al Ajillo
    • Garlic, lemon juice and parsley – an incredible technique that can be used for so many dishes! Here we use caramelized mushrooms and mop up the juices with house made bread.
  • Orange, Tomato With Onion Salad
    • Before sitting down to eat, we prepare a salad whose strong flavors can stand up to the paella. Made with macerated onions, oranges, tomatoes, almonds, olives and olive oil, you will be immediately transported to the Mediterranean where these ingredients

Dessert: Flan

    • To finish the experience Chef Daniel will serve you a smooth and creamy flan prepared in advance – sure to delight even those who think this dish is not for them!

Refund Policy

  • Cancellations made 31 business days or more in advance of the class date will receive a 100% refund, minus processing fees.
  • Due to the amount of preparation necessary for each class (including purchasing & shipping ingredients) cancellations made within 22 – 31 business days prior to the class will receive a 50% refund.
  • Cancellations made within 22 business days of the class will not receive a refund.
