What is a food tour? A common food tour is a walking-tasting-menu ("menu dégustation” walk) of about 2-4 hours, with 3-10 recommended stops/ must-try dishes/ restaurants/ markets/ bakeries etc., all hosted by a local foodie who is a great story-teller and host.
Why are we passionate about food tours? Because we wish to discover interesting cultures, to experience local food with all our senses, meet inspiring people and feel how life is on their side of our planet.
And as we see it, traveling is not only through other countries, but can be through our own hometown. In our home turf, we can discover subcultures, visit underground city secrets, and get a taste for the lives of others around us through their plates and stories.
We believe in creating a delicious and sustainable touristic alternative. Together we can create a community based on collaboration that will help the local culinary scene thrive while providing an amazing global experience for travelers.
