Eliot Arntz, Matt Parker, & Kevin Joslin

Teaches at General Assembly

Eliot Arntz, is a full time developer with BitFountain. Three years ago while working as an accountant, he began teaching himself Ruby on Rails and participated in a variety of classes and seminars. After mastering the basics of web development he became interested in iOS mobile development and began full time work as a mobile developer soon after. Since then he has worked on a variety of projects including games, photo applications and client work. Outside of his work with BitFountain he has tutored students through TutorSpree.com. Matt Parker is a full-time developer living in New York City. He graduated from Harvard College with a degree in Economics. After a stint in finance, he decided he wanted to build products and transitioned into programming. Matt focuses on iOS and back-end development. Kevin Joslin is an iOS developer with BitFountain. His career path was anything but ordinary: having earned a Liberal Studies degree from Quinnipiac University before becoming a co-owner/operator of a commercial and residential remodeling company, just last year he was invited into the computer programming field with relatively no experience. Recognizing the recent trends in those fields, the choice to jump into the world of tech was a no-brainer and he's had no regrets. He can attest to the notion that someone with little to no experience in computer science can - in a short amount of time - make great strides in the field. All that is required is passion, commitment, and patience.
