What you'll learn in this arabic class:

This course is a functional approach to create a bright, innovative class for the study of Egyptian colloquial Arabic—the spoken dialect most frequently studied and most widely understood in the Arab world. Rich in everyday cultural content and real-life functional situations as well as comprehensive grammar, the course is designed according to the ACTFL guidelines for teaching Arabic as a foreign language. Key topics covered gradually lead students to understand, use, and speak the Egyptian Dialect for future travel and study in the region.

Prerequisite: ARAB 101 Elementary MSA I Book: Kallimni ‘Arabi Bishweesh (With Audio CD)
