Danielle Quirion began as a competitive gymnast and dancer from a young age and received dance training in a variety of styles including Ballet, Tap, and Jazz. While training Dani participated in various programs with professional companies such as the Boston Ballet and Dance Theatre of Harlem. Dani graduated from the Fairfax Academy of the Arts in 2002. Dani attended Virginia Commonwealth University, where she continued training and performing in Modern dance and was a member of the VCU Dance Team. After graduating in 2007 with a B.S. in Sociology, Dani continued performing and choreographing at Virginia Tech University, where she earned her Masters Degree of Public Administration and Policy. Dani then returned to Washington, D.C., and has danced with a variety of companies including Contradiction Dance, El Teatro De Danza, Next Reflex Dance Collective, the Capitol Movement Project, and DCypher Hip Hop Company. Dani also served as Director and Choreographer at SAX Lounge for two years where she choreographed works of a variety of styles including Cabaret, Burlesque, Pole Acrobatics, and Contemporary Dance. Her works have been showcased at events such as Intersections Dance Festival and DC Knock Out Abuse Gala.
