Choosing Essential Oils by Aroma & Blending Characteristics is an introductory educational class designed to help students understand how essential oils differ in aroma, fragrance families, scent intensity, and blending characteristics. Students will explore how to recognize individual aromatic profiles, compare complementary and contrasting scents, and understand the basic principles behind creating balanced essential oil blends.
This class is divided into two learning sections. Part 1 consists of a one-hour live virtual stream session featuring theoretical instruction, guided discussions, and a question-and-answer session with the instructor. Part 2 consists of online self-paced learning, where students log into their Peach Academy student accounts to complete four course modules that reinforce and expand on the concepts introduced during the live session.
By combining instructor-led education with independent online coursework, students can build foundational knowledge of essential oil aromas, scent combinations, and responsible blending practices. This class is suitable for beginners, aspiring aromatherapy enthusiasts, and individuals interested in expanding their knowledge of essential oils for educational, personal, or creative aromatic applications.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
