What you'll learn in this dye class:

Learn the magic of indigo dye through Shibori techniques in this hands-on all level workshop. You will design, dye and take home a tote bag. You will get to create beautiful designs using a few Shibori techniques with cotton fabric to take home and make projects of your own (placemats, pillow cover, napkins, etc.)

Join a group of students and immerse in an afternoon of fun and creativity! All dyeing materials provided. You can bring a couple of your own small goods to dye (fibers like cotton, silk, rayon etc) - please no bedding, duvet covers, curtains, etc.

All materials included (includes all dyeing supplies, fabric, tote bag, wood shapes, gloves etc)

Refund Policy

When class/workshop enrollment is below the minimum three days prior to the first day of class, the class may be cancelled. If there is a cancellation, we will contact registered students at least 2 days before the start of the class/workshop by email or by phone.

We will offer students the option to transfer into another class or receive a full refund for the amount paid.

Classes are not refunded due to failure to attend class, planned absences, minor illnesses, or vacations.

If you drop a class:

  • If you drop a class at least 8 business days before it starts, you will receive a 100% refund minus a $20 administrative fee.
  • If you drop a class between 7 to 2 business days before it starts, there are no refunds. At this point students may receive a class credit if the school is able to replace your seat with another student before the start of class. If this is not possible, crediting will not be offered.
  • If you drop a class on or after the class start date, no refunds or credits are possible.

Transfers:

  • If you transfer to from one class to another class of equal value or more, there is no administrative fee.
  • Otherwise an admin fee will be charged for transfers.
