Spanish Beginning 1

Students will be introduced to Spanish pronunciation exercises. A 35 word vocabulary will be provided for use during this term. With these words and the guidance of our instructors, you will be able to learn the basic grammatical structure of Spanish including the use of nouns, adjectives, and articles as well as the use of the verbs "ser"/"estar" (to be). Songs, funny games, and basic conversational exercises will be performed during the class.

We use a conversational approach in every class, with a maximum of eight students. All instructors are certified with years of teaching experience.

Class Materials:

We will provide an integrative book to each student. These books were created in conjunction with our program. The book contains writing, grammar topics, and interactive conversational exercises. Each book covers two courses.

Students should bring a pen or pencil. Students are welcome to bring a dictionary, lexicon, or smartphone/tablet with a dictionary or translation app.
