What you'll learn in this improv class:
In class you will cover:
- Learning to write in a Virtual Writer’s Room in today’s challenging environment.
- Everything pertaining to late night TV including monologue and field pieces
- Learning to collaborate with fellow writers
- Instructor feedback on your joke writing assignments
- Learning to write killer monologue & topical jokes
Remote Learning
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

Each class students will learn how to collaborate in groups just like late night writers!
John Reynolds has taught the prestigious Late Night Writers Workshop for NBC every year since its inception in 2013. Students have gone on to write for Fallon, Conan, and more. He has written for Comedy Central’s The President Show, Conan, Colbert, and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. He has won a Daytime Emmy Award and is also a Peabody award winner.
