Michael Woods

Michael Woods is a writer/artist working mainly in experimental film and video art. After releasing 25 shorts, his film work has been exhibited at NYU, Collectif Jeune Cinema, Souvenirs from Earth TV, and many festivals over the past three years. He has been working in Final Cut Studio for ten years and is currently editing two indie features in Final Cut Pro 7 and Adobe Premiere Pro. In addition, he is an apple certified trainer in Final Cut Pro X.



Michael is also in post production on his first feature film, The Pleasure Principle, a mixed media experimental film utilizing Lo and hi-res digital, as well as super 8, 16mm, and 35mm film.



He is a co-founder of the Disassociative Collective, an underground art and experimental film collective. With them he has worked on several shorts and two feature films in the capacity of Director of Photography, Sound Designer, Assistant Director, Producer, and Editor. Within the next year, the Disassociative collective will release three features and several shorts, including The Pleasure Principle.
