Gina Ippolito is originally from Boonton Township, New Jersey, which she swears is an actual place that exists. She currently lives in Los Angeles, where she has written for such shows as CBS' The Unicorn, the revival of Murphy Brown, the Emmy-award winning Cartoon Network series, Regular Show, Disney Channel's Bunk'd, and the 2016 reboot of Cartoon Network's The Powerpuff Girls.

Gina's first graphic novel, B.A.B.E. Squad, which she co-wrote with her friend, Haley Mancini, was released in March 2019. Its first run has completely sold out. Gina has studied, performed, coached, and taught improv and sketch comedy at UCB theater, The Pack Theater, iO West, and The Improv Space. She was also the New Jersey Junior women's chess champion when she was 17, which is shockingly one of the least dorky things about her.
