Learn how to get the most out of your external flash unit. The class will help you understand the modes and functions of your flash, as well as how aperture, shutter speed and ISO affect your flash photos. From adjusting the power of the flash to choosing how to position the flash, this class will help you become more skilled when using your external flash unit.
There are lots of ways you can use flash to light your subject. Should you fire the flash straight at the subject? Use fill flash? What about bouncing the light? How about using accessories to modify the light from the flash? We'll cover all these topics and more. You’ll be guided to using your flash in the auto mode and adjusting the strenght of the flash as well as using it in manual mode and dialing the power up or down.
Recommended equipment: Your camera and compatible external flash unit. Any combination of lenses covering wide to telephoto range (18–200mm), extra batteries for your camera and flash, as well as an extra memory card. Tripods won’t be needed for this class.
This class is appropriate for ALL BRANDS: Nikon, Canon, Fuji, Pentax, Sony, etc.
