Diane Ivey

Teaches at The Eliot School

Diane Ivey (fiber arts) has a passion for knitting, spinning and dyeing yarn. She teaches at the Eliot School and at numerous elementary schools and community centers through our School Partnership, as well as at JP Knit & Stitch, Egleston YMCA and elsewher. Diane sells her hand-dyed yarn nationally through her company, Lady Dye Yarn. She likes to adapt the colors and exuberance of graffiti to her yarn dyeing, and is particularly interested in finding alternatives to dye yarn and wool without chemicals. Diane holds a Masters in Public Administration with a concentration in Non-Profit Management from Suffolk University.
