Kelly Gracia is a Health Policy and Data Analyst Consultant with experience in Python, SQL, Machine Learning techniques, data governance and data visualization. She previously was the Data Governance Analyst for NYU Langone Health, where she was responsible for utilizing Informatica Developer to assess, improve, and maintain data quality across the enterprise. From 2013 - 2016, Kelly was a Senior Research Coordinator for MD Anderson Cancer Center, working on quantitative and qualitative analysis for the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery Program, Lymphedema Screening Program Project, and the Innovation for Cancer Care Department.

Class was overall solid. One suggestion i would make is to relate the class more to business than just theoretical examples. While we did deal with the Iowa Liquor Dataset and had questions framed in "business" type format - they really weren't strong business use cases. Tying it back to the instructors real world working experience would have helped paint a better picture of when to use certain syntax and queries. Additionally, the Second day was heavily Unions and Joins. Joins were extremely complicated and we rushed through them pretty quickly - i had a hard time fully grasping these concepts in comparison to the first day where we thoroughly reviewed each topic in depth. Overall the class helped my understanding of SQL and will help me greatly in my role. Kelly was an upbeat, knowledgeable instructor who made the course enjoyable and fun. I would definitely attend or recommend others to enroll in another class taught by her.
