Description

A Chorus Line was a massive award winner, securing the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, 9 Tony Awards (including Best Musical, Book, Score), Drama Desk Awards, and a special Tony for longest-running shows, making it one of Broadway’s most celebrated musicals. Its storyline is about 17 dancers auditioning for 8 spots in a Broadway Show. But, as you would have guessed, it dives bigtime into their lives, dreams and struggles, with iconic songs such as ‘What I Did for Love’. It’s about the love of dance as they face the realities of aging out of the profession.

A huge fav among Broadway actors, ATNY is bringing this delightful and intense Broadway hit back to the stage in both MainStage and Junior Productions. If you dance, you can’t miss this one. If you sing, you can’t miss this one. If you LOVE BROADWAY, this show is for you.

Every young musical actor is featured!

Rehearsals: Begins Sunday, February 28th, 1:30pm – 4:30pm.

(Virtual: Some rehearsals will be by Zoom)

Shows: 2 Junior Shows in the 2nd and 3rd weekends in June, exact days coming shortly. There will be a day of tech the week b/f performances. ATNY records final performances and will give all families the option to purchase a full show tape.

Note: We respectfully ask performers to commit to rehearsals, as this is still a professional production, with top notch Broadway choreography and musical direction team.

NO AUDITION NECESSARY!

Make-up Classes or Workshops

Classes: We know schedules can get difficult and things happen; so, we stay parent friendly and flexible. Make up classes must be completed in same semester as that to which you’ve registered. With the school approval, you may carry over missed 2 classes or days only, to the next semester only, including summer.

Workshops: Because there are limited seats in workshops, each workshop, without exception, is a ‘use it or lose it.’ There are no make up workshops permitted. However, if you give us written notice within 2 days of actual workshop that you cannot attend, we can attempt to fill your seat. Then, and only then, you may receive future workshop credit, to last 6 months from date of registered workshop.

Thank you for your understanding with this policy.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
