What you'll learn in this medical training:

This 45 credit hour, four day, on-site, fully approved course satisfies the didactic and clinical requirements to certify dental hygienists to administer infiltration local anesthesia and nitrous oxide analgesia to their patients in New York State.

The course is being offered by the dental hygiene department at New York City College of Technology, an approved provider of CE credits in New York State. The college is located at the corner of Tillary and Jay Streets, at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge. It is easily accessible from virtually every bus and subway line (Court Street, Borough Hall, or Jay Street/Borough Hall stations).

Participants successfully completing this course will be recognized as having completed 45 continuing education credit hours by the American Academy of Dental Hygiene, INC., an approved NYS sponsor.

Course Requirements:
All participants must

Be a New York licensed RDH.
Document professional liability coverage of at least $1,000,000/3,000,000.
Not be pregnant or nursing and in adequate health to participate as a patient & operator.
Document current CPR/Healthcare provider status.
Purchase required texts.
Bring Safety Glasses to wear in clinical sessions.

Refund Policy

Tuition refunds are issued under the following conditions:

95% refund when a written withdrawal notice is received 2 business days prior to the first class meeting.
80% refund if a written notice is received 2 business days before the second class meeting.
No refunds are given after the 2nd class meeting.

Please note: For classes less than 200 hours, there is a fee of $25 charged for withdrawals once classes begin.

If you give a withdrawal notice by telephone or otherwise withdraw without written notification, you will not receive a refund.

The school reserves the right to cancel any course or modify the schedule. This can also include cancellation at the first class meeting. In the event of such a cancellation, you will receive a full refund of all tuition and fees.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
