Michelle Greene Sculpture

I've been meaning to learn to weld for decades and I can't think of a better introduction than the one I got with Michelle. She's remarkably knowledgeable and experienced in a wide range of welding and metal working techniques, and, (more importantly for a beginner student), a skilled, patient and enthusiastic teacher. Her class was a great combination of information about the machinery and mechanics involved, (not only in MIG but in other welding techniques) and well paced and hands-on practice of well scaffolded skills. I feel like the lesson got me exactly the practical skills and information I needed to move forward, carefully, into the world of welding.

Michelle was a wonderful instructor and we came away with a great introduction to welding and some cool candle holders. This was a really fun way to spend Valentine’s Day.

I never welded before and this class was great for beginners even though TIG is an advanced technique. Michelle walked us through setups and we spent most of our time welding with both steel and aluminum. The class was really informative, hands on, and a lot of fun. I will definitely take another.

Really enjoyed the energy and pace of the class. Doing a small 2 student group allowed for more a hands on time while still being able to observe another beginner at work. Michelle is very knowledgeable, a great instructor! I highly recommend all of her courses.

This was my first oxyacetylene class and it was such a wonderful experience. Michelle is an incredibly knowledgeable and natural teacher. She made me feel confident about working with the torch and described everything very thoroughly. On top of that, she is very friendly and we had great conversation. I learned so much and I’m looking forward to taking more classes in the very near future!! Thank you for a truly enjoyable class!

This class couldn't have been better! Michelle is extremely knowledgeable about all kinds of welding and is an excellent teacher. I was a complete beginner and she was patient, confident and clear in her instruction. She was flexible in what she taught me and offered additional information based on what my goals were with welding. The time flew by, I'm proud of what I was able to make, and had an excellent time. This was the coolest thing I've done all year! I highly recommend Michelle's classes.

Great class! Michelle is very thorough and technical, giving lots of detail. She also makes the class fun with a project and lots of knowledge on all welding topics!
