  Eva is an amazing language teacher. I say language, because she speaks so many of them. If you’re looking for help in Spanish, French, or German, or if Turkish, Arabic, and Portuguese are more your speed, she is perfect for you. She is a teacher who has off-the-charts competence and a stellar knowledge of all the languages she speaks. She is very understanding, joyful, and easy to get along with. She is very accommodating to any need that you might have. This is very important for me, because I am blind, and the way that I learned is not like everyone else. I promise you, you will not find many people who can match her attention to detail or her abilities. You are lucky if you have stumbled upon this website. You don't need to search any further for your language teacher. I cannot recommend her too highly. Thank you!

  This class was fantastic! It's all about Allan as his expertise and kind personality takes center stage throughout the class. The way class is structured was so helpful. Students dive into the deep end of the proverbial pool since Allan will speak mostly Spanish and everyone is prompted to read and encouraged to participate. The small and large group activities throughout the class were helpful and it's a nice plus to socialize with new people. The Manhattan Language school is great as well with their customer service and intimate office (school..) layout! Highly recommend if you are committed to learning. If you know you'll miss classes please consider joining another time so other students can sit in instead! So excited to join Spanish Beginner 2 next week!

  My husband gave me the lovely gift of conversational French lessons with Eva Rosales. I admit that I felt intimidated because I simply have a very high level of French at school and college and I haven't practiced it for many years. Eva immediately put me at ease while keeping our conversations in French. Eva kept a virtual notebook that we shared so I could refer to all the new material between our classes. Eva engaged me in varied conversations about my life, which is much more useful than most subjects we learn in school. Eva also encouraged me to try new ways of phrasing things. I feel that I have grown in vocabulary, confidence as well as grammar thanks to my sessions with Eva, she has a gift for language and interpersonal relationships.

  The school was very flexible, amazing teachers, and very simple and affordable to get started with Course Horse. I started out attending in-person class but then I wanted to switch to online classes. They did that for me without any problem. The professors were patient and supportive.

  I love every minute of the learning experience with Clara. Clara esta inteligente e interesante. I learned how to pronunce the words correctly, I learned how to conjugate verbs "estar" and "ser". I learned many new useful Spanish words that I intent to use in my work settings. I like it so much that I am signing up for more lessons.

Eva kann einem helfen den Stoff im Unterricht aufzuarbeiten und Eselsbrücken für Vokabeln nennen, um sie sich besser merken zu können. Sie hilft einem beim richtigen Satzbau und in der Grammatik.   Belen is wonderful, hilarious, and an efficient teacher! You learn how to conjugate verbs in many different forms and the class transcends an academic Spanish education. It is very helpful to have had some prior knowledge of nouns, verbs, and basic conjugations though, and if you do, things will come back quickly.

  I took the Spanish 1: Beginner course over the summer. I came to the course with some prior knowledge of basic greetings etc, but a complete novice in terms of having a conversation. Eric was our instructor with a group of around 7, the size of which made it possible for everyone to practice and have time for feedback before proceeding onward. We learned history, went through book lessons, and Eric would recommend great music every week for us to immerse ourselves in - and I still listen to many of the artists today. Throughout the course, my vocabulary, pronunciation, conjugation, and conversational skills have dramatically increased; as a dentist, this has allowed me many opportunities to connect with my Spanish-speaking patients, and I am so glad to have taken the course. Looking forward to joining the intermediate course during the winter. Thank you!!!

  "Eva is an amazing teacher! She taught me all the basics of German with a very professional and fun, practice-oriented methodology.   Took the beginner Spanish class, which has been a lot of fun. Lower stress as our teacher (Eric) has been adaptable to our differences in experience (most of us being complete novices). We spent some time talking about the theory in both English and Spanish, listened to a lot of good music, and got put on the spot with the expectation that we had studied previous exercises. Overall happy with the experience and feel more confident in my abilities - looking forward to progressing further!

  My 19 yo daughter was struggling after coming back from college during the pandemic and we had always talked about learning sign language. I spent more time watching her during the classes and it was difficult at that time of our lives to concentrate/study outside of class. I was very impressed with our instructor Jamil. I feel that if we were in a better place we would have gotten more out of it and definitely would have been able tp go on to the next class. I feel the format was very good, I would recommend it to others and (again) Jamil was great

  Spanish- Total Beginner was the just-right level for me. Adelina was a great tutor. She was supportive and patient, and always provided a mix of speaking, listening, and a variety of learning activities which helped me retain what I learned during class. I am planning on signing up for the next level soon.

  Lalo was a superb instructor. He spoke loudly and clearly, enunciating and pronouncing perfectly so that I could understand him. I would definitely take another class with him as I truly learned a lot and loved practicing speaking Spanish out loud.
