I took this class over summer and it wasn’t what I expected. It’s a 3hr class that’s 90% lecture. Most of anything you do that’s hands on is on your own time at home. I found it to be very boring. So boring, I didn’t even bother going to the last 2 classes. One of our classes was a field trip to a paint store to learn about colors paint comes in. Waste of time and money.

Great class and instructor. Very informative and easy understand presentation. The class begins with a "real" project that is developed further each week. New concepts are presented along the way.

I really did like this class. But I thought the class could be more application based. We didn’t build on the tools learned from the class before. It was as if each class was independent of the last one. I also thought time was wasted on extraneous information that didn’t pertain to class. There was a lot of auto cad bashing. But that’s not the point of this class. It was a waste of time that I paid for.

In this course the teacher hands out a packet with knowledge on the subject. The packet is read through by the teacher in class. Students are free to give opinions, there are open discussions about anything and everything. The course didn’t change my way of thinking in anyway. It imparted knowledge that is already available from books and articles. I feel like the class could use interactive sessions to have students think critically about negotiating scenarios and apply what knowledge is given. Maybe it’s too much expect from a 6 hour course? I was disappointed with the quality of the class. If you’re looking to complete an easy course with little effort, this works, but if want to better yourself, go somewhere else .
