This weekend workshop will explore the possibilities of an open-face kilncasting mold. This technique is perfect for capturing the texture of everyday objects both as impressions in clay, or as direct transfers to the mold material.
Samples, materials, and textures in the studio will be available, or bring your own items to play with. Come with an open mind to learn the basics of this process and see the results of a kilncasting!
No experience necessary.
