What you'll learn in this sewing class:
Already know the basics of sewing?
This class is perfect for next level sewing. This class is for the person who pretty much already knows how to operate their sewing machine and know how to read a pattern and would like to learn more techniques, such as blind hem stitch, sewing with double needles, e-z button holes on any machine and more.
This class also teaches techniques that make your garment or project look professional with perfect arm holes, all types of zipper inserts, inside and outside pockets, correct stitch lengths and widths, correct needles, fabric manipulation and more. Last but not least, you are welcomed and encouraged to bring your own project and get professional instruction while you work on it and if you have no project the class project will be a fall sweat shirt or hoodie.
This course will teach you:
- How to construct & sew a sweat shirt
- How to insert an ease in a sleeve
- How to work with knit fabric
- Correct needles to use with knit fabrics
- Selecting correct knit fabrics for knit projects
