Description
What you'll learn in this sewing class:
Let's sew a soft bra! We will be making a Lacy Darcey Bra for this workshop using stretch lace and stretch mesh.
The Lacy Darcey Bra pattern is fully lined with adjustable bra straps and hook and eye closure.
In this workshop, students will learn the following skills:
applying several types of elastic trim: picot elastic, narrow lingerie elastic, and strap elastic
how to create adjustable bra straps with rings and sliders
working with stretch galloon lace and stretch mesh
how to clean finish bra seams
All materials included. Lunch is included.
Students will receive a copy of the digital pattern.
Sewing machines and all tools required to make the soft bra will be provided.
Students are welcome to bring their own sewing machine if they feel more comfortable sewing on their machine. The machine needs to be able to do a straight stitch and a zig zag stitch.
Students will also enjoy a 10% discount on fabrics and materials they buy during the workshop.
Difficulty Level: Advanced Beginner (You are comfortable on a sewing machine and sewing curves.)
