What you'll learn in this museum class:

NITWIT! BLUBBER! ODDMENT! TWEAK!

Are you still waiting for your Hogwarts letter? Have your Potter-loving friends and family ever referred to you as a “Muggle” (and you had no idea whether or not you should be insulted, but were too afraid to ask)? Do you have STRONG opinions on The Great Snape Debate? Have you ever thought, “Man, it would be really great to go on a kickass guided museum tour with a bunch of fellow Potter nerds?”

YEAH, WE’RE DEAD SIRIUS. (too soon?)

Our 1.5 hour 'Harry Potter' tour of the Metropolitan Museum of Art is for witches, wizards, Squibs, and Muggles alike. We can’t guarantee that the portraits will talk, but we will delve deep into the history of secret societies from the de Young, show you representatives from each Hogwarts House in the museum, and search for equipment like wands, robes and pets to prepare for one of the most important events in every witch or wizard’s life -- the Sorting!

Once you’re Sorted, we’ll put your magical abilities to the test as we fast track you straight to your O.W.L.s with a series of games and challenges to test your mettle -- complete with your own renegade study group, à la Dumbledore's Army!

Tour is for ages 16+. No one under 16 will be admitted.

Note: Museum Hack is not associated with J.K. Rowling, Warner Bros., or any of the individuals or companies associated with producing and publishing Harry Potter books and films.
