What you'll learn in this comedy class:

A class for anyone who's ever felt like there’s a drag queen inside them waiting to be set free. This six-week Drag Comedy overview taught by Ms. Golden Delicious will take you from bedroom drag baby to a total diva. Covering topics from drag history and performance styles to the art of "beating a mug", students will have the opportunity to showcase their newfound drag character in a final showcase performance: a real-live drag show hosted by Golden herself! Golden's philosophy is that every person has a Queen inside them, and it's not just the hair and makeup that makes your Queen shine. Yas!

Weekly Layout:

We believe that Drag is a form of performance art that can be performed by people of any race, gender, sexuality or other background.

Students will be encouraged to work towards crafting a drag look and performance for the class showcase and should be prepared to supply their own hair and makeup products as well as any wardrobe for that performance, under the guidance of instructor.
