What you'll learn in this tax class:

Steven Zelin, widely known as the Singing CPA, will give a presentation on taxes tailored to the needs of artists, specifically glassmakers. The lecture will cover all you need to know about 1099s, self-employment taxes, business expenses, deductions, and much more, followed by a question and answer session. With tax season approaching, get your questions answered and confusions addressed in this free workshop.
School Notes:


Preparing for class 

  • It is recommended that students bring notebooks and water bottles to in person classes. All basic materials and supplies needed for the class will be provided. If students wish to use specific tools or materials not supplied in class they are responsible for obtaining these items themselves. 

Studio Attire 

  • For your safety, protective eyewear must be worn at all times in all areas of the UrbanGlass Studio. We will provide appropriate eyewear for your use. Appropriate work clothes are also required. Flammable or synthetic fabrics, sandals and open-toe shoes are not allowed. Long hair must be tied back.

Refund Policy

Enrollment cancellations made outside sixteen (16) days from the first day of class are eligible for a refund less a 5% processing fee. Refunds will not be granted for any cancellations made inside sixteen (16) days from the first day of class, or for withdrawals during class.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
