We are a network of rooftop apiaries across Queens, NY.
Astor Apiaries is the urban beekeeping project of Nick and Ashley Hoefly. Our goal is to foster and benefit bee populations in the NYC area through awareness, education and hand-on experience offered to the general public. We also seek to reclaim wasted rooftop space and provide a positive net impact on the surrounding environment.
