Seong Hee Park is a creative and innovative makeup artist with more than 15 years experience in the fashion industry. Originally from South Korea, and based in New York City, she studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology and holds a Master’s degree in Color from the prestigious Hong-Ik University in Seoul.
Starting with the Calvin Klein Perfume 1 campaign in 2010, Seong Hee worked with Pat McGrath on various projects, including the Met Costume Institute Gala, CFDA Awards, New York, Paris, and Milan Fashion Weeks. Her work has also been featured in i-D Magazine, Vogue Korea and Taiwan, W Korea, Harper’s Bazaar Korea and China, Elle Korea, Marie Claire Korea, DAZED & CONFUSED Korea, Allure Korea, Nylon Mexico and Korea, German Glamour, the gentlewoman, Double Magazine, AMICA, among others.
Seong Hee’s work has been influenced by the likes of Helmut Newton, Richard Avedon, and Henri Matisse. Always keeping the big picture and overall balance in mind, she is known for her understanding and use of color, as well as her knowledge of fashion in general. She is inspired by early 20th-century paintings and photography, and has a love for all things vintage and poetry.
She currently resides in New York City.
