Catherine Ruhl fell in love with the art of Shibori in art school and was inspired after her first trip to Japan. She has a regular studio practice in Brooklyn, NY creating paintings, drawings, quilts, and Shibori pillows. She sells her card line, Shibori creations and Ukrainian eggs at West Elm, Pottery Barn, and the Brooklyn Flea. She graduated from Pratt Institute with a BFA in Fashion Design.
