Marika Hahn

Marika Hahn lives in New York City but her artwork is inspired by nature. She dreams of gardens, fruits and veggies, flowers and wildlife.

She is passionate about color and painting with watercolor inks. Marika teaches fashion illustration and watercolor painting to children attending The Bank Street School, The School at Columbia University and Columbia Grammar. Watercolor painting for adults is taught at The Creative Center and The JCC Manhattan.

Marika is an Artist in Residence at Bellevue Cancer Center. Watercolor painting, with people in treatment, serves as a wonderful distraction. Several patients come to the Center to make art on days there is no treatment.

Marika is a graduate of FIT (Fashion Illustration and Advertising Design) and also studied Children’s Book Illustration at SVA.
