Nica Rabinowitz

Teaches at Fiberhouse Collective

Nica Rabinowitz is the Founder and Creative Director of the Fiberhouse Collective. Her practice is rooted in the restorative properties of natural dyes and locally foraged, found, and farmed materials. Nica has taught workshops through Textile Arts Center, Parsons the New School for Design, New York University (NYU), Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), Genspace, and the annual Maker Faire. She was a resident at Icelandic Textile Center and is an active Succurro fellow. 

Her work has been displayed at New York Fashion Week, the Museum at FIT, and Tenri Gallery. Nica can be found crafting in her Brooklyn based studio/the "fiberhouse", in the field, or in the lab at The Rockefeller University.
