Von Thomas is a bi-coastal DIT and Dailies colorist, photographer, cinematographer, digital capture expert, and educator. During the 80s and 90s, Von carved out a career as an advertising fashion and beauty photographer. In the late 90s, he discovered digital and integrated that into his photography workflow and by 2001, he opened a digital capture boutique in New York (Digital Tech NYC). In 2008, he ventured over to digital cinema initially becoming an instructor for REDucation and today he leads his own DIT On-Set Dailies workshops in places like Dublin, Ireland, and LA.
