Annie Pichan & Amanda Centeno (guest teacher)

Teaches at The Vocal Lab and Music School

Amanda Centeno is an actor and vocalist based in NYC. She has performed Off-Broadway with Pan Asian Rep, regionally with Berkshire Theatre Group and TUTS Shakespeare in the Valley, and is an active member of The Bats at The Flea Theatre (The Trojan Women, #serials), among other credits. She graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Drama; notable NYU credits include Hamlet (Ophelia), a devised cabaret at The Duplex entitled Strangers Like Us, and The Matter 2012: Art & Archive with choreographer David Gordon. As a vocalist, she has both a musical theatre and classical background.  She believes that music and performance foster a heightened level of creativity and empathy in all individuals. She strives to provide an environment in which her students feel empowered by performance and performance education, as well as the opportunity to share their talents with other classmates for interactive growth.
