Simcha Raphael, PhD, is a transpersonal psychotherapist, spiritual director and adjunct professor in the religion department at Temple University. He has worked as a resident psychologist in a funeral home, a bereavement counselor and a hospice chaplain. A rabbinic pastor, he is director of the DA’AT Institute for Death Awareness, Advocacy and Training and author of Jewish Views for the Afterlife.
