Dorothy Griffin is currently studying with Frederic Hand at Mannes School of Music where she is pursuing her Bachelor of Music degree in Classical Guitar Performance. Before moving to New York City she had her own private guitar studio in the Washington D.C. area, teaching students of all ages a wide variety of music.

Currently she performs around the city as a solo guitarist, in guitar ensembles and with her duo partner a classically trained vocalist. Dorothy is Suzuki certified in Book 1 and loves working with young children as well as students of all ages to develop a passion and love for not only music but also the guitar.
