Walter Rhee is a native Korean cook residing in Hawaii. He received his Bachelor's degree from Cornell in marine biology and a Master's degree in food science from the University of Hawaii. He has taught nutrition and cooking for close to 20 years, including at the Food Science and Human Nutrition Departments at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and at the University of Hawaii.

Walter Rhee is a Korean native who currently teaches cooking science (vis-à-vis Alton Brown/Bill Nye) at the University of Hawaii food science department . Walter received his Bachelor's degree from Cornell in marine biology and a Master's degree in food science from the University of Hawaii. He has taught for 20 years.
