What you'll learn in this wine tasting class:

Pinot Noir is one of the most loved grape varieties for wine, and with good reason. One of the most beguiling aspects of Pinot Noir is how sensitive it is to terroir. From light and earthy to plump and juicy, Pinot Noir expresses itself very differently depending on its growing and production conditions.

In this class we will taste a variety of expressions and explore how and why the wines end up tasting the way they do, and which regions produce the Pinot Noir you love most.

Classes are 2 hours long, including a Q&A session with Astor Center Instructor, Chris Struck.

What you can expect:

1 Welcome wine
6 Tasting pours of Pinot Noir
Palate-cleansing bread and cheese
A 20% discount on all wines tasted to use in-store after class

What you will learn:

An overview of the different styles of pinot noir.
The different regions that grow and make wine from pinot noir.
Elements of terroir that effect the final quality.
The best ways to serve and pair pinot noir.

Class reservations can be exchanged up to 72 hours prior to the date of the class for another class of equal or lesser value. Classes may also be transferred to another attendee by emailing [email protected] 24 hours before the start of the class.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
