Cake, Frosting & Chocolate Oh Yeah! Sign your little baker up for this Decorating and Baking crash course! Each week we work on a different project from icing cakes, to baking pies and cookies. 

Learn how to work with different ingredients, tools and techniques that everyone can apply at home and start the building blocks of a Master Chef!


  • March 24: Geode Sugar Cookies

Create crystal cookies!

In this class students will learn how to bake sugar cookies, and then create amazing geode effects using royal icing, fondant and rock candy!

  • March 25: Spring Cake pops

Everyones favorite decorating project – Cake pops! Make these crowd pleasing treats and decorate them with flowers, drizzles, sprinkles, and more!

In this class students will learn how to bake sugar cookies, and then create amazing geode effects using royal icing, fondant and rock candy!

  • April 14: Animal Cake Popsicles

Learn how to make your cake popsicles delicious AND adorable! Learn how to make the newest pop trend and work with fondant to create unicorns, lions, and bears! OH MY!

Learn how to make this French Favorite pastry and decorate with, fillings, glazes and piped designs! By the end you’ll practically be a Pastry master ready for the bakeoff! 

  • July 03: Drip Cake with Meringues 

For our last day of camp we decorate our very own cakes with a watercolor technique, learn how to make a delicious drip and top with some of our meringue pops to really take our drip cake to the next level! 

  • July 13: Tie Dye Sugar Cookies 

Bake and Decorate some delicious and groovy sugar cookies with royal icing! Learn how to make royal icing, execute piping techniques, and create intricate designs! 

  • July 14: Ice cream Cone Cake pops 

Cool off this summer with some Ice cream cake pops decorated to look like the ultimate sundae!

  • July 15: Vacation Cupcakes 

Bake cupcakes & decorate them to match your summer! BBQs, beach days, sunshine and more! Learn to work with fondant and create crazy cupcake toppers!

Learn all the tips & tricks to make this advanced French pastry, fill them, and turn them into the cutest macarons you’ve ever seen! 

  • July 17: Beach Cake 

In our last day of class, each student decorates their own cake, learn how to create beautiful frosting waves and make our own beach scene on top with fondant, sprinkles and more!

Refund Policy

NY Cake Academy classes are not eligible for refunds, however they are transferrable. Students reserve the right to reschedule their class to an alternative date or time up until 7 days prior to the class date.


You may choose to give your place in class to another student. Please let us know in advance so we can have our paperwork in order. Class time may not be split up though. The same student will be enrolled in all days of a multi-day class.


All deposits & fees are forfeited for no shows.

Class Policies:

Classes will begin on time so please be sure to allow enough time to arrive and prepare prior to the start of the class. The studio will be open to students 15 minutes prior to beginning of class to allow for set up. Classes occasionally run over time, please let the instructor know if you need to leave early or immediately at the end of class so they can plan for it.

We do not provide make-up classes.
