What you'll learn in this unique class:

Led by acclaimed audiobook narrator Gabra Zackman, this workshop will focus on the technique of audiobook narration and the shifting styles of narration from genre to genre.

In addition, there will be a discussion of the audiobook industry as a whole and the ins and outs of a career within it. Most importantly, the focus will be on finding the individual actor's authentic voice within the craft of narration, and bringing out the actor's individual and unique personal connection to the words within their chosen selections.

This workshop is open to actors who are new to the audiobook industry and to those who have audiobook experience but are looking to further deepen their craft.

Please bring and prepare a 1-2 minute audiobook selection of your choice. Choose any genre you feel you are best suited to, and prepare it to the best of your ability. Cold reading is acceptable as well.
