The topic and the book were wonderful. The instructor, Manny, had all kinds of conspiracy theories that he would talk about sometimes instead of plants.

I thought this course was going to be on Mixology using botanicals, not on botany and the history of mixology. I also recommend that the speaker show the audience what drinks he is making and how they’re made.

A great integration of theory/science of color and practical use with actual flowers. Highly recommend, whether you are pursuing certification or just enjoy making arrangements for yourself and friends.
I learned a lot of new information, and gained a scientific basis for what I'd previously held as intuitive preference. The Zoom platform enabled attendance from far-flung places, but limited our experience of our classmates' work to photos (static image, amateur lighting an photography). Since two of the key lessons are about background and lighting, there was a similar tradeoff: at home, with a week to do homework, we can find/create good backgrounds, but smartphone photos and amateur lighting can't really show you the arrangement.
Homework review was anonymous; this lessened nervousness, but I would have liked to hear from my classmates about their inspirations and why they made certain choices, and been able to share my dilemmas and ask for suggestions.

Could not attend. Calculated wrong time zone. Any handouts or video?

This class, as taught by Sheri Forster, was an eye opener and horizon broadener for me, an amateur gardener without a lot of formal learning. However, there were Master Gardeners and nursery owners in the class as well and they had plenty of questions too, thoroughly and kindly answered. Great visuals and just a slew of new plants learned, in the context of when and where they flourish, always highlighting Natives and plants that support birds and pollinators. A great way to learn more about what to plant where and with what in your garden for beauty, health and visual interest in all seasons.

Great class! Full of practical advice and specific instruction. Ann is highly knowledgeable and also entertaining as a lecturer. She even did a live pruning demonstration — a real challenge via zoom. A bonus: she was very generous with her time in answering specific questions from us. Highly recommend!

The instructor was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. She made everyone feel welcome, and I thoroughly enjoyed her weaving humor into the class.

I learned a lot and enjoyed it very much. Unfortunately the instructor ran out of time. I would have liked my arrangement to have been critiqued.
